Welcome
We are a group of 9 mums from Hersham/Walton-On-Thames and have formed a fundraising committee to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The motivation behind the formation of our committee was the loss of a dear friend, and popular local mum, to cancer in May 2008. Many of us have family or friends still fighting this cruel disease - it is this that spurs us on to continue fundraising for vital research, despite our loss.
Our main focus tin 2009 was an idea which came from our children wanting to do their bit to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Standing outside their children's classroom one afternoon, 2 mums got to talking about the Race for Life and what a shame it was that boys couldn't take part. "What a pity they don't do a kid's Race for Life" - were words that sparked the idea for what is now called
"Little Legs for Life"

The Pink Party - Friday 11th December.
The Pink Party was a huge success raising over £2100 for the charity. 150 people attended the event at Esher Rugby Club - The High Barnets, great raffle prizes, a comedian and the Pink Ladies' dance performance all made it en evening not easily forgotten! Read more on our Pink Party page.
